CHIN CORRECTION
(RECESSED CHIN)
(RECESSED CHIN)
A recessed chin can be seen with an overbite where the lower jaw is underdeveloped. Usually, it is noticeable from the front and/or profile view. There are mainly two ways to fix this: one is implant insertion and the other is sliding genioplasty.
How is Chin Correction performed?
An incision is made under the chin (following the natural crease for less visible scarring) to the lower jawbone where a silicon implant is inserted.
Chin Correction can benefit:
- People with an underdeveloped chin.
- People with an overbite due to a recessed chin.
- Males who want to look more masculine.
