The Forehead Implant Removal procedure is for patients who wish to have a previous forehead implant removed, this could be due to aesthetic dissatisfaction or a number of complications associated with forehead implants including regional alopecia, prothesis displacement, foreign body reaction, infection or chronic subcutaneous seroma.
How is Brow Implant Removal performed?
It is conducted by creating a small incision at the scalp behind the hairline superior to the forehead, detaching the forehead skin from the bone via an endoscope to create a proper subcutaneous space, then removing the implant and closing the incision site with stitches.
